Noongar Relationships Committee
The Noongar Relationships Committee (NRC) is the main connection between the seven Noongar corporations and the Trust.
What does the NRC do?
Provides a forum to review the Trustee's obligations to the corporations under the Trust Deed
Reviews the central services corporation's services to Regional corporations
Discusses general administrative and operational matters of the Noongar corporations
The Trustee must consult the NRC on:
Accessing income or capital from the Noongar Future Fund
Allocating proceeds from development land activities
Appointing representatives on the nominations committee
The Trustee's compliance with the Trust Deed
How the Trustee deals with traditional laws and customs
Preparing the Trustee Expense Budget
Code of conduct and policies & procedures manual
Strategic review of the Trust
Making any changes to the Trust Deed
The NRC has up to 17 members:
The chairs and CEOs of the seven Noongar corporations (the members of the NCC), and
3 directors of the Noongar Advisory Company:
1 Trustee director
1 independent director
1 Noongar community representative
