Noongar Investment Committee
The Noongar Investment Committee (NIC) manages investments for the Noongar Boodja Trust.
Its key responsibilities include:
Developing the investment policy
Consulting with the NCC, NAC, and WA Government on investment matters
Selecting and reviewing investment managers
Assessing and arranging sales or development of properties in the Development Land Fund
Who can be a member?
Members are appointed by the Trustee. They must have proven knowledge and expertise in investment management and/or property development.
The NIC has 7 members:
One Trustee representative (who is the chair)
Two NCC representatives (who may or may not be Noongar people, but must have 5+ years investment or property development experience)
Four independent persons (nominated by Trustee on the recommendation of the nominations committee):
Two with 5+ years experience in significant property transactions
Two with 5+ years investment experience managing funds over $500 million
